Asansol is the heart of West Bengal. It is not called so for taking pleasure but it has a rich amalgamation of different cultures and religions. Among cultural festivals, Durga Puja is the biggest celebrated festival of Asansol. It is the main festival of Bengalis however, celebrated by each and every religion dearly. There are many other cultural festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Guruparva, Chhath Puja, Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja are celebrated by everyone.
